2026 Hometown Fire Festival: Suo Hashiramatsu Full-Day Course
This course spends a full day around Hikari City (光市), Yamaguchi Prefecture, facing the Seto Inland Sea, centered on the Hometown Fire Festival Suo Hashiramatsu (ふるさとの火まつり 周防柱松) held on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Spend a relaxed midday in a park surrounded by flowers and greenery, then stroll the Murozumi (室積) seaside and cape in the afternoon. After also enjoying the scenery at Nijigahama (虹ヶ浜), pick up dinner in town in the evening. At night, look up at fireworks together with the traditional Hashiramatsu event around Asahi Bridge (旭橋) — a quintessential summer day on the Seto Inland Sea.
