2026 41st Koutokukai Summer Festival Fireworks Festival Full Day Course

On August 1, 2026 (Saturday), this is a full day course through the history and wine country of Nanyo, centered around the 41st Koutokukai Summer Festival Fireworks Festival held at the Koutokukai Satoh Hospital parking lot in Nanyo City. At noon, visit Kumano Shrine, one of Japan's Three Kumanos, and enjoy searching for rabbits hidden in the shrine grounds. Next, stroll through Eboshi-yama Park, known as a cherry blossom viewing spot, and in the afternoon, explore the vineyard-covered grounds of Sakai Winery fragrant with wine. In the evening, walk through the Akyu Hot Spring town for dinner, then secure your viewing spot near the venue. At 8 p.m., approximately 3,000 fireworks will light up the sky from the Satoh Hospital parking lot. A greedy day full of Nanyo's history, nature, and hot spring charm.
