2026 Kameiwa Matsuri: A Full One-Day Course

Centered on the Kameiwa Matsuri (亀岩まつり) held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, this course lets you spend a full day enjoying the Saidaiji area of Higashi Ward, Okayama City. During the day, enjoy food-stall snacking and shopping along Gofuku-dori (五福通り), in front of Saidaiji Kannon-in (西大寺観音院), then pay a visit to the temple, known for its spirited Hadaka Matsuri (Naked Festival). In the afternoon, take a relaxed walk along the riverbed of the Yoshii River (吉井川), then stretch your legs at Saidaiji Sports Park (西大寺運動公園). In the evening, have dinner around Kameishi Shrine (亀石神社) while claiming your spot.
