2026 Ibara Matsuri☆Manten (Izue Summer Festa) — A Full-Day Course
Centered on the ‘Ibara Matsuri☆Manten 2026 (Izue Summer Festa)’, held from 13:30 on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the plaza and street in front of Ibara Station, this is a full-day course touring the culture and history of Ibara City. At midday, encounter works by artists connected to the local area at the Ibara Municipal Hirakushi Denchu Museum of Art, then enjoy a walk through history at Chusei Yumegahara, which recreates a medieval village. In the afternoon, view excavated items such as bronze bells at the Kodai Mahoroba-kan Museum, and in the evening, walk through the festival venue in front of Ibara Station to look for souvenirs. After securing a spot for the fireworks while having dinner near Ibara Sports Park Baseball Stadium, the launch site, about 1,000 fireworks shells color the night sky from 20:00.
