2026 The 57th Tamano Festival Fireworks Full-Day Course
This course centers on the 57th Tamano Festival Fireworks Display (第57回玉野まつり花火大会), held on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Uno Port's First Pier (Chikko) (宇野港第一突堤(築港)) in Tamano City, and lets you enjoy a full day in this harbor town facing the Seto Inland Sea. By day, swim at Shibukawa Beach (渋川海水浴場), one of Japan's “100 Best Beaches,” and get close to the animals at the neighboring Shibukawa Zoo and Botanical Garden (渋川動物公園). At Mt. Ojigatake (王子が岳) in the Seto Inland Sea National Park, take in a spectacular view over the Great Seto Bridge and the islands. In the evening, return to the area around Uno Port (宇野港) to enjoy the festival atmosphere and grab a bite to eat. Once night falls, around 3,000 fireworks will color the night sky over Uno Port. This is the definitive summer Tamano plan, packed with beach swimming, breathtaking views, and fireworks.
