2026 10th Summer Fireworks Festival: A Full One-Day Course
This course centers on the 10th Summer Fireworks Festival (第10回夏の花火祭り), held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, and spends a full day enjoying Okinoshima Town, Oki District, Shimane Prefecture, the gateway to the Oki Islands. During the day, visit an ancient shrine watched over by an age-old great cedar and a historic old residence, then in the afternoon explore a cape park overlooking Saigo Port and a facility where you can learn about nature. In the evening, pick up dinner around Saigo Port, and at night look up at the fireworks from the venue at Nakamachi Menuki. It's a summer day unique to the island, where you can feel Oki's history and nature.
