2026 Seiro Summer Festival Grand Offshore Fireworks: A Full One-Day Course
This course centers on the Seiro Summer Festival Offshore Fireworks (聖籠夏まつり海上大花火), held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, and lets you enjoy a full day in the seaside area of Seiro, Niigata Prefecture. At midday, take a swim in the Sea of Japan at Ajirohama Beach (網代浜海水浴場). Cool off beneath the trees of Sannōmori Historic Site Park (山王森史跡公園), where the sacred grove of Hie Shrine (日枝神社) spreads out, and take a leisurely stroll through the greenery along the river at Kajikawa Flood Control Memorial Park (加治川治水記念公園). In the evening, return once more to Ajirohama Beach, cool down with an early bite to eat, and secure a spot overlooking the offshore area where the fireworks will rise. As night falls, about 400 fireworks shells launch from offshore, coloring the night sea with light. Packed with sea swimming, cool relief beneath the trees, and summer offshore fireworks, this is a day plan unique to Seiro.
