2026 The 78th Ome City Cooling Fireworks Festival: A Full-Day Course
This full-day course centers on the 78th Ome City Cooling Fireworks Festival, held from 7:15 PM to 8:45 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at TCN Sports Park Nagayama (Nagayama Park Athletic Field) (TCNスポーツパーク永山〈永山公園グラウンド〉) in Ome-shi, Tokyo. At midday, vehicle-loving kids will be thrilled at a railway park lined with real train cars, and next you can enjoy the view from the observation deck at Nagayama Park, which overlooks the Tama River. In the afternoon, stroll through the shopping street in front of Ome Station, which still retains its retro Showa-era atmosphere, and in the evening, have a meal before securing a spot at the venue. From 7:15 PM, about 3,640 fireworks launch into the night sky over the Tama River valley. This is a one-of-a-kind day plan for Ome City, packed with historic streets, nature, and powerful fireworks.
