2026 TSUGA Bon 2026 (49th Tsuga Citizens' Bon Dance Festival & 26th Fireworks Display): A Full-Day Course
This course centers on TSUGA Bon 2026, held from 5 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Tsuga Sports Ground (都賀総合運動場) in Tochigi City, letting you spend a full day enjoying Tochigi City, known as the 'Kura no Machi' (storehouse town). At midday, enjoy local flavors at Michi-no-Eki Nishikata, and in the afternoon, stroll through the storehouse-lined Kura no Machi before enjoying the views from the mountain temple Iwafunesan Kosho-ji (岩舟山高勝寺) and Mt. Taihei. In the evening, head to the Tsuga Sports Ground and soak up the Bon dance atmosphere while waiting for the fireworks to begin. About 1,000 fireworks color the summer night sky in a finale that pairs Bon dancing and fireworks — a fitting close for Tochigi City.
