2026 Higotai Festival 2026 Full Day Experience Course
A full-day course to enjoy Ubuyama Village spread across the Aso highlands, centered on the Higotai Festival 2026, held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 8:45 PM in a grassland opposite UBUYAMA PLACE in Ubuyama Village, Kumamoto Prefecture. At noon, touch the clear spring water at Ikeyama Water Source, selected as one of Japan's 100 Famous Waters. In the afternoon, visit another famous water spot, Yamabuki Water Source, and stroll through Higotai Park, named after the rare flower. In the evening, enjoy dinner around UBUYAMA PLACE while waiting for dusk. The fireworks lighting the night sky offer an open finale characteristic of the highlands of Aso.
