This is a course to enjoy the Lake Ashi and mountain-surrounded Hakone/Moto-Hakone area for a full day, centered on the Lake Ashi Summer Festival Week 1,269th Annual Festival Celebration Fireworks Display, held on August 1, 2026 (Saturday). At noon, visit Hakone Shrine, known for its floating torii gate on the lake, and enjoy the lakeside scenery at the park, a former imperial villa site. Cruise around Lake Ashi on a sightseeing boat and visit the Edo-period checkpoint ruins. In the evening, gather dinner around Moto-Hakone, and at night, approximately 2,300 fireworks light up above Lake Ashi—a true summer day in Hakone.
