2026 Chinzei Town Summer Festival Hadomisaki Fireworks Full-Day Course
This course centers on the Chinzei Town Summer Festival Hadomisaki Fireworks Display (鎮西町夏まつり波戸岬花火大会), held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Hadomisaki Beach (波戸岬海水浴場) in Chinzei-cho, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. At midday, encounter Warring States-period history at the ruins of Nagoya Castle (名護屋城跡) and its museum, then enjoy a scenic drive across Yobuko Bridge (呼子大橋), which spans the Genkai Sea (玄界灘). In the afternoon, savor the famous squid dishes along Yobuko Morning Market Street (呼子朝市通り) and watch the fish beneath the surface at the Genkai Undersea Observation Tower (玄海海中展望塔). In the evening, have dinner at Hadomisaki Beach (波戸岬海水浴場) while securing a spot to watch the fireworks, which color the night sky over the Genkai Sea from 7pm. This is a one-of-a-kind day plan for the Yobuko and Chinzei area, packed with a historical walk, spectacular ocean views, and fireworks.
