2026 Nihon-no-Heso Nishiwaki Summer Festival: A Full One-Day Course
This one-day course centers on the Nihon-no-Heso Nishiwaki Summer Festival, held from 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Nihon-no-Heso Park (日本へそ公園) in Kamihie-cho, Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture. At midday, enjoy art at the Okanoyama Museum of Art (岡之山美術館) in the park, then learn about the universe and earth science through hands-on experiences at Terra Dome (テラ・ドーム). In the afternoon, visit the park's lawn plaza and the monument marking the ‘Navel of Japan,’ and in the evening, have dinner at the venue while securing a spot to watch the fireworks. From 7:50 p.m. to 8:20 p.m., about 3,000 fireworks color the night sky over Nishiwaki.
