2026 Kibun Matsuri Fireworks Festival: A Full-Day Course
Centered on the Kibun Matsuri Fireworks Festival held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, this course lets you enjoy Arida City, Wakayama Prefecture, known as a mikan-growing region, in a single day. During the day, visit the historic Itoga Inari Shrine, and in the afternoon, enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood at Minoshima Port. In the evening, stroll the promenade along the banks of the Arida River, then head to the area around Arida City Hall before sunset for dinner and to stake out a spot. At night, fireworks color the autumn night sky from the banks of the Arida River. This one-day plan lets you fully enjoy both a festival named for the Edo-period merchant Kinokuniya Bunzaemon and its fireworks.
