2026 Japan Sea Sunset Fireworks Full-Day Course
A full-day course centered on the Japan Sea Sunset Fireworks (日本海ゆうひ花火) held on September 5, 2026 (Saturday) at 7:30 PM at Shinkawa Fishing Harbor in Nishi Ward, Niigata City. In the daytime, leisurely walk through Uchino's shopping street and stroll through Sasagata, a Ramsar Convention-registered wetland known as a paradise for migratory birds. In the afternoon, enjoy a seaside walk at Igarashi Beach, and in the evening, relax and cool down at Uchino Kamioka Bathing Beach. Before dark, arrange dinner and secure viewing spots around Shinkawa Fishing Harbor, and enjoy the fireworks alongside the lingering glow of the sunset sinking into the Japan Sea.
