2026 Chofu Fireworks: Full-Day Course
This course centers on the Chofu Fireworks held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, and lets you enjoy Chofu's charm, surrounded by temples, shrines, and greenery, over the course of a day. By day, visit Jindaiji (深大寺), known for its famous soba, and admire seasonal flowers at the adjoining Jindai Botanical Gardens (神代植物公園). In the evening, enjoy a garden stroll at Keio Floral Garden Ange (京王フローラルガーデンアンジェ), then have dinner and stake out a spot on the Tama River (多摩川) riverbed. At night, about 10,000 fireworks shells color the night sky around the Tama River (Tamagawa, Chofu City) (多摩川周辺(調布市多摩川)). Packed with both a historic temple-and-shrine stroll and powerful fireworks, it's a Chofu day plan fitting for the start of autumn.
