2026 Fukuyama Summer Festival: A Full-Day Course
This full-day course centers on the Fukuyama Summer Festival, held from 7:30 pm on Saturday, August 8, 2026, and lets you fully enjoy Koriyama City. At midday, enjoy lunch and shopping at Big-I (ビッグアイ) in front of Koriyama Station, and in the afternoon, freely enjoy the lawn and the pond at Kaiseizan Park (開成山公園), also known as a cherry blossom spot. Back at the station area, you can enjoy the planetarium and hands-on exhibits in the cool halls of the Koriyama City Fureai Science Museum on the upper floors of Big-I. In the evening, move to the Fukuyama riverbed (富久山河川敷) and stake out a viewing spot while browsing the food stalls, and by 7:30 pm the fireworks will finally color the night sky. It's a well-rounded day plan that lets you enjoy a city stroll, nature, and science all at once.
