2026 Okaya Fireworks Festival: Full-Day Enjoyment Course
Centered on the Okaya Fireworks Festival held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, this course lets you fully enjoy Okaya City (岡谷市) on the shore of Lake Suwa (諏訪湖). During the day, experience the world of a local picture-book artist at the Irufu Dogakan (イルフ童画館), feel the lake breeze along the shore of Lake Suwa, and stroll through history at Takashima Castle (高島城). In the evening, fill up near Okaya Station (岡谷駅前) and secure a spot, then at night about 2,000 fireworks from the multipurpose plaza at Okaya Kohan Park (岡谷湖畔公園多目的広場) color the night sky over Lake Suwa.
