2026 Mutsugorō Kingdom Ashikari Summer Festival & Island Pilgrimage Full-Day Course
Held around Mutsugorō Park and Kai Yu Fureai Park in Ogi City, Saga, the "Mutsugorō Kingdom Ashikari Summer Festival & Island Pilgrimage" is scheduled for August 1st (Saturday) in 2026, with fireworks lighting up the night sky over Ariake Bay at 8 PM—a signature summer event closing the season in Ogi. This course is designed to explore Ogi City's history and nature before enjoying the summer festival. First, explore Ogi Park, known for its cherry blossoms, and walk along the tree-lined path of a thousand cherry blossoms along the Gion River. Cool off at Shimizu Waterfall and learn about the history of Ogi Yokan at Muraoka Sohonpo Yokan Museum, then head to Mutsugorō Park and Kai Yu Fureai Park at 8 PM for fireworks and the main festival. This course lets you experience Ogi's nature, food culture, and Ariake Bay fireworks all in one day.
