2026 Kainan Cool Wind Wind Chime Festival - Full Day Experience Course

A full-day course centered on the opening day of the "Kainan Cool Wind Wind Chime Festival," held from August 1-15, 2026 at Kasuga Shrine in Kainan City. In the morning, worship at Fujishiro Shrine, known as the gateway to the Kumano Kodo trail, then stroll through the historic townscape of Kuroe, famous for its Kishu lacquerware heritage. Visit Uruwashi Hall to explore the world of lacquerware craftsmanship. In the evening, enjoy an early dinner near Kainan Station, then at 5:00 PM, step into the grounds of Kasuga Shrine, where countless wind chimes create a cool, melodious soundscape.
