
2026 Takatsuki Matsuri One-Day Highlights Course
This one-day course lets you fully enjoy the first day of Takatsuki Matsuri (2026, held August 1-2), staged around the Takatsuki Castle Park Arts and Culture Theater and Johoku-dori Shopping Street. In the morning, feel the romance of ancient history at Imashirozuka Kofun (今城塚古墳), said to be the tomb of Emperor Keitai, then enjoy nature at the scenic Settsukyo Gorge (摂津峡). After an early lunch at Takatsuki Center Gai (高槻センター街) and a stroll through the newly renewed Takatsuki Castle Park (高槻城公園), the festival venue awaits from 2pm. It's a day to fully enjoy the lively streets, parade, and events with your family until evening.
