2026 Kitamido Bon Odori Full-Day Experience Course
A full-day course to fully enjoy the first day of the 'Kitamido Bon Odori' (held August 19-20, 2026) held at the grounds of Honganji Tsuramura Betsuin, commonly known as 'Kitamido.' In the daytime, stroll through Osaka Castle Park associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and view the beautiful rose garden of Nakanoshima Park and the Osaka City Central Public Hall. Touch history at Tekijuku associated with Ogata Koan, have an early dinner along the ginkgo tree-lined Midosuji, then head to Kitamido temple grounds starting at 5 p.m. Enjoy the urban bon odori with food stalls on a summer evening.
