2026 Toogatta Hot Spring Costume Bon Odori Festival - Full Day Experience Course
A one-day course centered on the first day of the 'Costume Bon Odori Festival' held annually at Toogatta Hot Spring (August 13-14, 2026; Zao Street area). Start in the afternoon at Zao Fox Village to interact with cute foxes, then visit Miyagi Zao Kokeshi Hall to experience traditional kokeshi craftsmanship. Continue to Zao Ranch Center for farm activities and soft-serve ice cream, refresh at the shared bath, and enjoy an early dinner at the hot spring town's restaurants. At 17:00 on Zao Street, locals in costumes dance in a unique and warm bon odori circle. A perfect course for families to experience nature, traditional crafts, and hot springs all in one day.
