2026 Okayama Momotaro Festival, Ujo Summer Festival: A Full-Day Course
This is a one-day course centered on the first day of the Okayama Momotaro Festival, Ujo Summer Festival, held around Okayama Castle in Kita Ward, Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026. By day, walk through the spacious grounds of Okayama Korakuen, one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, and experience art at the Okayama Prefectural Museum of Art. Enjoy street food and souvenir hunting at Omotecho Shopping Street, and after an early dinner along the Asahi River, from 17:00 the area around Okayama Castle finally becomes the festival's stage. Set against Okayama Castle, also known as Ujo, this is a day when families can fully enjoy a summer evening together.
