
2026 Ushio no Ka Matsuri Full Day Experience Course
A one-day course centered on the Ushio no Ka Matsuri (Tidal Fragrance Festival) (August 22, 2026), which brightens the summer of Saka Town in Hiroshima Prefecture facing the Seto Inland Sea. In the morning, experience traditional craftsmanship at Fude no Sato Kobo in Kumano, Japan's brush capital, then take in a panoramic view of Hiroshima Bay from Kougon-yama Observation Deck. In Kure City, visit the Yamato Museum, famous for its 1/10 scale model of the battleship Yamato, and enjoy seaside views at Kure Portopia Park while having an early dinner. From 5 PM, the Ushio no Ka Matsuri begins at the Parti Fuji Saka Store parking lot, with food stalls from Saka Sunday Market adding to the excitement. This is a course where families can leisurely experience the sea breeze and festival energy unique to a coastal town.
