2026 Ikeda Awa Odori Full-Day Experience Course
A full-day course celebrating the first day of 'Ikeda Awa Odori' (August 13, 2026) held in Ikeda Town, Miyoshi City in the heart of Shikoku. In the afternoon, explore the Udatsu Townscape that flourished in the tobacco industry, learn history at the Tobacco Museum, and visit Hashikura Temple, a mountain temple accessed by ropeway and one of Shikoku's premier power spots. After an early dinner at the station-front shopping street, from 5 PM the park and streets around JR Ikeda Station will be alive with Awa Odori. This is a family-friendly course where you can enjoy Awa Odori unique to a mountain town, different from those in Tokushima City and Naruto City.
