2026 Iwakura Summer Festival Citizens' Bon Odori: A Full Day Course
This one-day course centers on the first day (August 21, 2026, at the Aderia General Gymnasium and Cultural Center parking lot) of the 'Iwakura Summer Festival Citizens' Bon Odori,' held in Iwakura, a small castle town through which the Gojo River flows. During the day, stroll along the promenade beside the Gojo River, learn about the history connected to Oda Nobunaga at the ruins of Iwakura Castle, and take a break in the cool interior of Apita Power Iwakura. In the evening, have an early dinner at the shopping street in front of Meitetsu Iwakura Station, then head to the venue while enjoying the 'Iwakura de Night Marche' starting at 17:30. It's a homey summer festival unique to a compact castle town, where you can enjoy both the Bon Odori dance circle and a night market at the same time.
