Full-Day Enjoyment Course for Furusato Miya Festival 2026

This is a one-day course highlighting the first day of 'Furusato Miya Festival' (August 1-2, 2026), held in the Ootori-dori and Orion-dori areas of Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture's capital. During the day, experience the castle town's history at Utsunomiya Castle Ruins Park, visit the beautiful Catholic Matsuga Peak Church with its distinctive Ooya stone architecture, explore the mystical underground space of Ooya Museum, and view the cityscape from Hachiman Mountain Park's observation tower. In the evening, enjoy Utsunomiya's famous gyoza around Orion-dori, and from 5 PM, the streets become the festival stage. It's a distinctly Utsunomiya summer festival day with food stalls.
