2026 Hinokuni Festival - Full Day Experience Course
A full-day course centered on the "Hinokuni Festival" held around Hanabatake Park in central Kumamoto (July 31 - August 2, 2026, with the first day as the focus). Visit the magnificent tower of Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan's three most famous castles, and take a respite in the beautiful gardens of Suizenji Jojuen. Experience Kumamoto's food culture at Sakura-no-baba Josaien, enjoy an early dinner at the covered arcades of Shimo-tori and Kami-tori, then experience the main event of the "Oteomoyans Odori" filling the streets around Hanabatake Park at night.
