2026 Namino Highland Cool Festival 1-Day Experience Course

This is a 1-day course centered around the "Namino Highland Cool Festival" held in Namino, Aso City at the eastern gateway to Aso (August 15, 2026, venue: Michi no Eki Namino "Kagura-en"). In the daytime, first savor lunch featuring highland vegetables at Michi no Eki Namino, then visit Onaari Shrine (男成神社), an ancient shrine with historical ties to the Aso clan, and explore stone Buddha statues passed down in the region to experience Namino's history. In the afternoon, enjoy a majestic drive through the Namino Plateau while savoring the cool mountain air. As evening approaches, return to the Kagura-en venue for the main festival event. The Namino Kagura dances and local events light up the highland night.
