2026 Fukui Phoenix Festival Full Day Immersion Course

This is a full-day course to enjoy the opening day of the Fukui Phoenix Festival (July 31 – August 2, 2026, Fukui City, around Fukui Station), Fukui's signature summer festival where the major avenues around Fukui Station fill with group dance and excitement. Spend the daytime walking past the moats and gates of Fukui Castle Ruins, immersing yourself in the serenity of Yohokan, the daimyo garden, and enjoying the lush greenery and views of Asuwayama Park. In the evening, have an early dinner at Hapirin in front of the station, then at 5 PM head to the venue centered on Electric Train Street. Riding the rhythm of drums and music, the entire street becomes filled with the heat of dance – the climax of Fukui's summer.
