2026 Furusato Kawara Summer Festival Bon Odori: A Full-Day Course
This full-day course centers on the Furusato Kawara Summer Festival Bon Odori (August 15, 2026, at Kawara Town General Sports Park, Tagawa District, Kawara Town), held at the foot of Mt. Kawarayama with its distinctive three peaks. During the day, visit Kawara Shrine with views of the mountain, the retro wooden Saidosho Station, and Seishiden Hall, deeply linked to ancient copper mining. In the evening, enjoy an early dinner in central Kawara Town before heading to the General Sports Park at 6:30 p.m., where about 30 night stalls and Bon Odori dancing bring the summer evening to life, a perfect way for families to enjoy Kawara Town.
