2026 Matsuri Minami 2026 - Full Day Experience
This is a full-day course centered on 'Matsuri Minami 2026,' held at Shii Park in Kokura-minami Ward, Kitakyushu on August 29, 2026 (Saturday) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In the daytime, interact with animals at Aizu Forest Park, Kitakyushu's representative zoo, and walk through Kokura Castle and Katsuyama Park at its foot to touch the history of the castle town. In the evening, shop and have dinner at Sunrive City Kokura, then move south to Shii Park. As evening falls and lights on the stalls begin to glow, summer festival atmosphere spreads around lanterns and the scaffold. At this family-friendly park venue, you can leisurely enjoy bon-odori dancing and exploring food stalls. This course lets you experience various facets of Kitakyushu's city: from the zoo and castle to shopping streets and the community's summer festival.
