
2026 Kaigarabushi Festival: A Full One-Day Course
A full-day course to enjoy the “Kaigarabushi Festival” (August 1, 2026, Hamamura Tourist Road and Yasaho Park), set in Hamamura Onsen, the birthplace of the folk song “Kaigarabushi.” Start the day by visiting Hakuto Shrine (白兎神社), connected to Japanese mythology, then encounter local flavors at Michi-no-Eki Kinanse Iwami (道の駅きなんせ岩美). After enjoying the sea at Hamamura Beach (浜村海水浴場), stroll through the steaming Hamamura Onsen hot spring town and have dinner there as well. At 5:00 p.m., once drums and singing begin to echo along the Hamamura Tourist Road, join the hot spring town's summer festival with the call of “Yasaho!”
