2026 Yonago Gaina Festival Full-Day Course
A full-day course to enjoy the first day of the "Yonago Gaina Festival" (August 7-9, 2026, Yonago City Center and Yonago Port) held in the port town of Yonago facing Lake Nakumi. In the afternoon, first climb Yonago Castle Ruins and enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Nakumi and Mount Daisen. Next, touch the history of the castle town at the Sanin History Museum, and take a leisurely stroll through Hontor Shopping Street. In the evening, after having an early dinner at the station front, at 5 PM, the taiko drum sounds begin to echo around Yonago Port, and a powerful festival worthy of the name "Gaina" opens its curtain.
