2026 Kudara-no-Sato Idagoro Festival: A Full One-Day Course
This one-day course centers on the Kudara-no-Sato Idagoro Festival (August 15, 2026, at the Nango Chayashita Parking Lot and other venues), held in the Nango area of Misato Town, where the legend of the Baekje royal family lives on. In the daytime, experience a sense of historical romance at Nishi no Shosoin, modeled on the Shosoin, then visit Kudara-no-Yakata to see its exotic buildings. Next, pray at Mikado Shrine, tied to the legend of the Baekje royal family, and ring the Bell of Happiness at Koibito no Oka while taking in the mountains surrounding the Village of Baekje. In the evening, wash off the sweat at Yamagiri no Yu, and at 5pm, finally head to the festival venue. This course, recommended for families, lets you experience in a single day both the Baekje legend passed down across more than a thousand years and a summer festival made by the whole community.
