2026 Rurikei Nature Park (るり渓自然公園) Full-Day Course

This is a full-day course starring Rurikei (るり渓), a Kyoto Prefectural Nature Park in Sonobe-cho, Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture. Rurikei is a scenic spot where waterfalls large and small and potholes line the gorge, and since it is open at all times, its appeal is that you can drop by freely according to the weather and your energy. The morning starts leisurely at Michi-no-Eki Galleria Kameoka (道の駅ガレリアかめおか), browsing local vegetables and specialty products, followed by lunch and a break at Rurikei Onsen (るり渓温泉). From early afternoon, as the sunshine strengthens, you finally move on to Rurikei, where you can enjoy river play unique to a gorge, stepping across stones and splashing in the clear shallows. The tree-lined gorge stays cool even in summer, and since the water is cold, playing during the sunny hours is recommended. It is a perfect day for families who want to spend time freely in nature.
