2026 Kiyomizu Keiryu Hiroba (Nomizo Falls and Kameiwa Cave) Full-Day Course
Kiyomizu Keiryu Hiroba in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture is a popular river-play spot known for Nomizo Falls and Kameiwa Cave, and is open at all times (in 2026 a partial closure due to falling-rock and landslide risk was lifted on July 2, but the latest information should be checked). The dreamlike scenery of light streaming from the cave and reflecting on the water has become a talking point on social media. In the morning, first stop by Michi-no-Eki Kimitsu (道の駅きみつ) and take a break while browsing local farm produce and souvenirs. Next, look out over the mountains of Boso from Kanozan Kujukudani Observation Park (鹿野山九十九谷展望公園) and enjoy the majestic scenery. After a lunch break, head to Kiyomizu Keiryu Hiroba. A full-day course where you can touch the water in the shallows around Kameiwa Cave and spend time in nature until evening.
