2026 Toyofusa Great Falls Full-Day Course

Toyofusa Great Falls (豊英大滝), in the Seiwa Prefectural Forest area of Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture, is a river-play spot open at all times (there is no dedicated car park, and roadside parking can get congested in summer). It is a natural spot surrounded by deep green forest, where falls large and small on the Yunosawa River are followed by clear pools. In the morning, first visit Seiwa Prefectural Forest and enjoy the walking paths and forest bathing amid the trees. Next, stop by Lake Kameyama and Kameyama Dam (亀山湖・亀山ダム) and take in the view of the mountains from the lakeside. After a lunch break, head to Toyofusa Great Falls. A full-day course where you can choose the sunnier hours to touch the water in the shallows around the plunge pool and spend time in nature until evening.
