2026 Neyagawa Park (寝屋川公園) Grand Fountain Full-Day Course
A day out close to home starring the “grand fountain in the central plaza” at Osaka Prefectural Neyagawa Park (大阪府営寝屋川公園). In 2026 it runs on the weekends from Saturday, July 4 to Sunday, July 12, every day from Saturday, July 18 to Monday, August 31, and on weekends and public holidays in September, ending Sunday, September 27, operating once every 15 minutes for six sessions a day between 11:00 and 15:00. Set in a comprehensive sports park surrounded by the greenery at the foot of Mount Ikoma (生駒山), the 20-meter-wide step-free grand fountain is popular because even small children can play safely. In the morning, first visit Neya Kofun (寝屋古墳) on the north side of the park, built in the late Kofun period, and touch on the breath of history. Then move your body and play at Kusa no Hiroba (草の広場), the grass plaza with play equipment, while waiting for the fountain to start. After lunch, it is finally time for the grand fountain in the central plaza. Enjoy the spray and make the most of water play for the full operating hours. The whole trip stays within the park as a short-distance outing, so it is easy to plan even with small children.
