2026 Hikarigaoka Park (光が丘公園) Water Feature, Jabu-Jabu Pond, Full-Day Course

A local outing course centred on the free water-play area, the water feature (Jabu-Jabu Pond), at Hikarigaoka Park (光が丘公園) in Nerima Ward. In 2026 it can be used from Wednesday 1 July to Wednesday 30 September, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., but it is closed from 14 to 21 July, 12 to 14 August, and 14 to 16 September for cleaning and events. In the morning, first observe wild birds and waterside creatures at leisure in the park's Bird Sanctuary, then have lunch at Hikarigaoka IMA (光が丘IMA), the shopping mall in front of Hikarigaoka Station. Once everyone is fed, return to the park, where water play at the water feature is the afternoon's climax. Splashing about in the shallow stream and looking for waterside creatures, even small children can enjoy it safely. As the park is surrounded by trees, you can also cool off in the shade between spells of water play. Travel is completed on foot or with a short bus ride, making for a day that is easy to set out on.
