2026 Shinjuku Cosmic Center Pool (新宿コズミックセンター プール) Full-Day Course
A one-day course centred on the pool at Shinjuku Cosmic Center in Shinjuku City. Open all year from 9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. (last entry 9:30 p.m., from 8 a.m. in August), it is a facility that is easy to plan for in any season. In the morning, first spend a fun time at the Tokyo Toy Museum (東京おもちゃ美術館), where you can handle toys while you play, then touch the town's history at the Shinjuku Historical Museum (新宿区立新宿歴史博物館). Once everyone is fed, move to Shinjuku Cosmic Center, where water play in the pool is the afternoon's climax. As an indoor pool it is unaffected by weather or temperature, so it can be enjoyed comfortably on rainy days and in the fiercest midsummer heat. Children who want to swim and children who prefer to just play in the water can each spend the time until evening at their own pace. Changing rooms and showers are fully equipped inside, so you can freshen up and head home feeling good. It makes a family day with no need to worry about the weather, savouring both learning and play.
