2026 Kawasaki City Iriezaki Waste-Heat Pool Full-Day Course
The Kawasaki City Iriezaki Waste-Heat Pool is an indoor pool inside the Iriezaki Comprehensive Sludge Center in Kawasaki Ward, available year-round from April 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (opening at 9:00 a.m. in July and August). It is a heated pool that uses waste heat from the incineration plant, so you can swim all year without worrying about the weather. In the morning, enjoy snacking along Nakamise-dori in front of Keikyu Kawasaki-Daishi Station and pay your respects at Kawasaki Daishi (Heiken-ji), known for warding off misfortune, before heading to the venue. From midday it is finally time to enter the pool and enjoy water play until evening. Being an indoor facility, it is easy to plan around even on rainy days, and this family course lets you taste the charm of a temple town and water play all in one day. The travel is also compact, so it works comfortably even with small children.
