2026 Kotoi Beach Full-Day Course
This one-day course stars Kotoi Beach in Izu City, Shizuoka, open from Saturday, July 18 to Tuesday, August 25, 2026, with swimming hours from 9:00 to 16:00, and takes you around Toi, a hot-spring town on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula. In the morning, first head to Toi Gold Mine, which once boasted one of Japan's largest outputs. Through touring the mine tunnels and trying gold panning, you can touch the history of Izu's gold mines. Next, move to Cape Koibito, a scenic spot with superb views of Mt. Fuji across Suruga Bay, and finish lunch while enjoying the view from the observation deck. After the scenic spots and the historical walk, it is finally time for Kotoi Beach. On a calm sandy shore facing Suruga Bay, you can spend the time until closing at 16:00 to the fullest, from playing in the water at the surf line to playing in the sand. The appeal of this course is enjoying the atmosphere unique to Toi Onsen and summer sea bathing all at once. It is reassuring to check the latest information on fees and facility details in advance. Why not bring a swimsuit and a towel and set out for Toi in summer?
