2026 Mitsuse Rubelle Farm Donguri Village (三瀬ルベール牧場どんぐり村) Splash Pond: Full-Day Course

A full-day course centered on the Splash Pond at Mitsuse Rubelle Farm Donguri Village (三瀬ルベール牧場どんぐり村), set deep in the Sefuri Mountains in Mitsuse Village, Saga City. Official information lists it as a seasonal facility open from mid-July to late September, operating only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30). The exact opening and closing dates for 2026 have not been announced, so check the official notices for that day's status before you set out. Note also that the village closes in rain, and the pond may not open on the day after rain. The water flowing through the pond comes from the Sefuri Mountains, is only ankle-deep, and an adult must stay beside children at all times. Admission is 800 yen for adults (high school age and above) and 400 yen for children (up to junior high school age); children aged 3 and under enter free, and there is no extra charge for the Splash Pond (annual passes are 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children, and parking is free). In the morning, take in the quiet mountain lake scenery at nearby Lake Kitayama before entering the village and spending time with the animals. After lunch, enjoy sledding on Donguri Hill, and then the afternoon belongs to the Splash Pond. In the cool air unique to high-altitude Mitsuse, it is a day of playing in the water right through to evening.
