A free full-day course centred on the Nopporo Green Mall (野幌グリーンモール) Water Play Area in Ebetsu. The 2026 opening period has not been announced yet, but in most years the water runs to match the summer holidays. Rather than a park, this is a promenade in the middle of town, and its distinctive feature is the fountains and streams set along the path. It is casual enough to drop by while shopping or out for a walk, and children splashing through the water and adults resting on shaded benches can share the same place. In the morning, visit the Nature Exchange Center in Nopporo Forest Park. It gives an easy-to-follow introduction to how the forest came to be and the creatures that live there, and you can step straight out onto the trail and walk under the dappled sunlight. For lunch, move to EBRI, a complex that makes use of a former brick factory building, and take a meal and a break surrounded by red brick. In the afternoon it is finally time to play in the water at the Nopporo Green Mall Water Play Area until evening.
