This full-day course stars the Hokkaido Tokachi Ecology Park Water and Mist Play Area (北海道立十勝エコロジーパーク 水と霧の遊び場), a prefectural-park water play area spreading along the banks of the Tokachi River (十勝川). The venue is Hokkaido Tokachi Ecology Park (北海道立十勝エコロジーパーク) in Otofuke Town (音更町), where the fountain-and-mist water play area can be enjoyed free of charge. The opening period has not yet been announced; in past years it has fallen within the summer holidays. The park has an air dome (ふわふわドーム), a broad lawn, restrooms at the visitor centre and a car park, so even families with small children can spend the whole day here with peace of mind. In the morning, head first to Tokachigaoka Park (十勝が丘公園), where a large flower clock drawn across the hillside and a view over the Tokachi Plain (十勝平野) await.
