2026 Moerenuma Park Moere Beach (モエレ沼公園 モエレビーチ) Full-Day Course
Moerenuma Park (モエレ沼公園) was created as a single work of art in its entirety, based on the concept of the sculptor Isamu Noguchi (イサム・ノグチ). The shallow, stone-paved water-play area inside that park is Moerenuma Park Moere Beach (モエレ沼公園 モエレビーチ). In 2026 it is open from Saturday, June 13 to Wednesday, September 2, from 10:00 to 16:00, and it is free to use. Its shallow construction paved with stone means even small children can safely play, starting from simply dipping their feet. Changing rooms, restrooms, a restaurant and a large parking lot are all available, so in terms of facilities as well it is a reassuring place for families to spend a whole day. In the morning, take in the philosophy of the park in the great atrium of the Glass Pyramid (ガラスのピラミッド), then climb Mount Moere (モエレ山) inside the park and enjoy a view that reaches the city center. Have lunch inside the Glass Pyramid, then change into swimwear in the afternoon and head to Moere Beach (モエレビーチ). It may be canceled depending on the weather, so check whether it is open on the day before you set out. This is one of Sapporo's finest outing destinations, where the whole day can be completed inside the park alone.
