2026 Nishino Ryokudo Greenway Stream Full-Day Course

A one-day course linking the greenery of Nishi-ku, starring the Nishino Ryokudo Greenway Stream along Nishino Ryokudo Greenway (西野緑道) in Nishi-ku, Sapporo. The Nishino Ryokudo Greenway Stream is open at all times from Monday, June 1, 2026 to Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and it is free. A shallow babbling channel runs alongside the promenade, so you can play by dipping your feet in during a stroll. With no pool-style divisions, children can freely move between wading and walking as the mood takes them. In the morning, go to Miyanooka Park (宮丘公園), where woods and walking paths spread out. Among trees you would never expect so near the city, you can walk while listening to birdsong. At midday, move to Noshi Park (農試公園), spread out a packed lunch on the lawn, and practicing bicycle riding at the traffic practice area is also recommended. In the afternoon, return to Nishino Ryokudo Greenway for water play while strolling along the stream. This is a course for enjoying the everyday nature of a residential area at a leisurely pace until evening.
