2026 Chiba Port Park Water Plaza Full-Day Course

A course for a full day of play close to home, built around Chiba Port Park Water Plaza, the free water play area at Chiba Port Park in Chuo Ward, Chiba City. It is a shallow water play area set inside an open, seafront park. In fiscal 2025 it was open from July 19 to August 31, from 10:00 to 16:00, but the fiscal 2026 dates have not been announced, so please check the official information before you go. Playing undressed or in a plain diaper is not allowed; a swimsuit or swim diaper is required. Pets may not enter the water, and balls, inflatable rings and water guns cannot be used. Since use is free, dropping in for just a short while is also an option. In the morning, enjoy plenty of hands-on exhibits at the Chiba City Science Museum inside Qiball. At lunchtime, eat properly at Perie Chiba by Chiba Station and top up on spare clothes and drinks. In the afternoon, take in the sea and the harbor from Chiba Port Tower before rounding off the day at the Water Plaza, a day that connects the city with the sea.
